Features:
9 trigger pads: The unit has nine responsive pads that can be configured with different drum sounds. The top three pads are elevated for easier access.
Duo Velocity Layer: This technology allows each pad to produce different sounds based on the intensity of your strike. For example, a soft hit can trigger one sound, while a harder hit triggers a different one. This allows for more dynamic and expressive playing.
Progressive sound: With 16 levels of dynamic sound, the volume and timbre change naturally with striking force, similar to an acoustic drum.
Extensive sounds and presets: The PD705 comes with 608 built-in sounds and 30 preset drum kits. Users can also create and save up to 20 custom drum kits.
Expandability: The pad can be expanded with up to four additional external drum or cymbal pads and two footswitches for a bass drum or hi-hat control.
Connectivity: It offers a wide range of connectivity options, including:
USB (Type B) output for connecting to a computer.
5-pin MIDI in/out.
1/8-inch aux-in jack for playing along with music.
1/4-inch headphone output.
1/4-inch stereo outputs (right and left).
Sample import: You can load your own custom samples via a computer using the included PD705 Manager software.
Compact and portable: Its small size and light weight make it easy to transport for gigs, practices, or studio sessions.
LED indicators: The pads are equipped with LED lights that help you navigate the controls, even in low-light environments.
